Thomas Aidan Curran
Thomas is a DT Fellow, and Senior Vice President Technology and Innovation Deutsche Telekom AG.
Awarded the title DT Fellow in 2010 for his outstanding technical contributions, he initiated the Group's program for mentoring talented young engineers and software developers, while still driving innovation in a number of strategic software programs. Thomas joined Deutsche Telekom in February 2009 as Chief Technology Officer for Products and Innovation.
He was responsible for transforming Group's Innovation Management, Research and Development "T-Labs", Internet Service Provider "T-Online", IPTV "Entertain", and cloud services "Connected Life and Work" into a more modern and agile product development organisation. Passionate about innovation and entrepreneurship, he founded five high tech software companies in his career.
A graduate of the Wharton School in Philadelphia, he has held research and teaching roles at University of Pennsylvania, Technical University Berlin, Wissenschaftszentrum Berlin, and the University of Arts Berlin.
