Theo Short
Theo Short is Product Manager for TV at Skype.
He took up the role in August 2010 and is responsible for managing and developing the Skype calling experience on 'big screen' devices in the home, working closely with Connected TV manufacturers and platform operators to deliver it.
Theo joined Skype from Virgin Media (previously ntl), where he worked for 11 years managing the product development of Digital Cable TV products including PVR, Video on Demand and Interactive Services. Skype is communications software whose purpose is to break down barriers to communication. With an Internet-connected device, families, friends and colleagues can get together for free with messaging, voice and video. At low cost, they can also call landlines or mobiles virtually anywhere in the world. Skype has recently introduced group video, allowing groups of more than two people to do things together whenever they're apart.
