Sotiris Bithas

Sotiris has been the head of Intracom Telecom’s Telco Software Marketing since 2008. Intracom Telecom is an international telecommunication systems vendor operating in Eastern Europe, the Middle East & Africa, Russia/CIS, North America and Asia-Pacific. With more than 2,000 highly-skilled professionals and subsidiaries spanning 16 countries, Intracom Telecom has extensive know-how and a proven track record of over 30 years in the telecommunication market, serving more than 100 renowned customers including fixed and mobile telecom operators, public authorities and large public and private enterprises, in over 50 countries.

In his current position, Sotiris is responsible for defining the strategy for, coordinating & monitoring all business activities of the Telco Software Business Division, in the technological areas of:

• Real-time Charging & IN services
• Operation Support Systems
• Policy Management & Enforcement
• Contact Centers & Customer Experience Management
• Content delivery/IPTV & Value Added Services

Before this position, Sotiris led technical product development teams in Intracom, involved in various technological areas of Data Broadcasting, Video & Voice over IP and distributed systems. He holds a BSc. degree in Chemical Engineering from National Technical University of Athens and an MSc. degree in Information Technology from University College London.
