Simon Orme leads strategy development of content services for BT Wholesale. Prior to this he was business development director for BT’s software-as-a-service initiative, and strategy director at BT Media & Broadcast, a world-leading supplier of global media solutions.
A former PwC consultant, Simon has worked in the consumer electronics, TV, DTH, digital media and corporate solutions industries for over 25 years.
Prior to BT, Simon spent two years in Malaysia working as alliance director for Maxis, the country’s leading mobile operator. He started his career at BBC Television, and spent 10 years leading NEC’s consumer electronics activity in the UK and Europe.
Simon holds an MA from Balliol College, Oxford and an MBA from the Open University. He lives in Notting Hill, London with his wife and children.
