Liliana Chacon

Liliana Chacon Transtel group - Colombia South America Liliana Chacon has more than 14 years of experience in telecommunications companies. She worked in ETB (an important operator in Bogota) 12 years in different areas as Planning Manager, Negotiation and budget Administration Manager and Multimedia and Television Manager. She was in charge of directing the introduction of an offer of bundled services for television, broadband and voice based on the deployment of IPTV services. Other managing activities were related with the design and implementation of a new procurement process. She was in charge of Negotiating and Contracting technology worth nearly 150 million dollars in national and international assets. She also worked directing many different telecommunications projects as well technical analysis and application of the regulatory issues. Currently she works with the Transtel group a holding of telecommunications companies as CTO. In addition to the technological issues she is directing the deployment of IPTV services over passive networks and the modernization of the whole transtel group networks. Mrs. Chacon began his career in 1994 after graduating as a Telecommunications Engineer at the University of the Andes, Bogota Colombia. She has two masters one in electric engineering and one in business administration (MBA) of the same University.
