Edward Boddington

Bod founded Harvest Media Group in 2004 after selling his UK business, Telescope UK to iTouch PLC in 2002. Telescope was founded in 1998 and grew rapidly to become a world record breaker with its voting management platform for the “Pop Idol” TV series in 2002 on behalf of FremantleMedia and ITV.

Bod serves as the Group CEO of Harvest, which owns two subsidiaries, Harvest UK and Telescope Inc in the United States. Harvest UK, based in London, provides interactive services for a number of leading TV brands including The X Factor and Britain’s Got Talent, as well as programmes for the BBC and various other media and production companies. Telescope in the US pioneered voting on the world’s biggest entertainment format ‘American Idol’. The group is owned by the founding shareholders and backed by Fleming Family and Partners.

In his role as Chairman, Ed will oversee and steer AIME through its various core functions including representing AIME members’ interests to industry regulatory bodies such as Ofcom, PhonepayPlus (‘Bod’ sat on the board of the premium rate regulator between 2005-8) and the ASA, and also help members to connect with each other through various initiatives to advance all forms of Interactive Media business.
