Angelo Pettazzi
Head of DTT Content Factory at Mediaset S.p.A.
Angelo was born in Milan in 1954.
He graduated in 1991 in Physics – specialising in Computer Science – from the “Università degli studi” of Milan.
He joined the broadcasting operations of Videotime, a company of the Mediaset Group, in 1981 as a technician.
In 1992, he was involved in the Training Department as a Trainer.
In 1997 he was involved in R&D Department of RTI, a company of the Mediaset Group, as a Researcher and then in 2001 in the Strategic Marketing of RTI as Technology Manager.
In 2003 he was appointed Head of Digital Terrestrial Content Factory.
Since the beginning of Italian analogue switch off activities, he takes part at the regional Task Forces; these dedicated groups of experts from the Industry, the Public Administration and the Ministry of communication are named by the Minister of communications and are in charge of managing the overall regional switch off activities.
The DTT Content Factory
The DTT Content Factory is a few people team in charge of design and manage MHP interactive application to be broadcast on the Mediaset free and pay digital networks. Specific competences – Human Computer Interaction Experts, Art Directors and Designers – are gathered to design and realize interactive concept both related and not related with TV content. The Factory has the production capacity of around 80 interactive application a year.
