The B12 platform offers a low cost, market proven STB Platform including the latest internet technologies to run state of the art OTT services. B12 includes latest hardware technology and software components like HTML4/5/CE-HTML browser, HbbTV, DLNA and an advanced media player. Additionally B12 supports latest Hollywood approved streaming technologies (e.g. Smooth Streaming, HLS, BitBand) and market proven DRM systems like DRM10, PlayReady, HLS-DRM and Secure Media.
The B12 platform already runs OTT applications like VOD-Services, Catch-Up TV Services, Online Video Recorders, IPTV/OTT FreeTV as well as PayTV Services and web-browser functionality.
